Rob Dhanu, K.C. is a highly respected criminal defence lawyer whose career has been shaped by deep experience on both sides of the justice system. He began his legal career as a Federal Crown prosecutor with the Department of Justice in Vancouver, where he was entrusted with complex and high-stakes prosecutions. During this time, Rob developed extensive expertise in Charter litigation, search and seizure law, drug trafficking and firearms offences as well as organized crime matters. His presentations have addressed topics such as Gladue reports, human rights in prisons, systemic discrimination within the justice system, domestic violence, and youth gang involvement in the South Asian community. He has also volunteered significant time as an instructor for the RCMP search warrant training program at the Pacific Region Training Centre in Chilliwack, British Columbia.
